Arend Roses will be reintroducing two large-flowered roses under the title Varieties of Excellence in week 25: Talea+ and Prima Donna+. Demand from the trade and the high level of appreciation for these top quality roses have prompted Arend Roses to reintroduce both varieties from breeder Dümmen Orange. These novelties will be available on the rose auction clock at Royal FloraHolland flower auction in Aalsmeer from Monday 19 June.
The Talea+ Rose is characterised by its bud with an attractive large teardrop. In bloom this large-flowered beauty has a chic colouring somewhere between cream and champagne. Talea+ is Latin for ‘made to measure’, in other words ‘haute couture’: but then in the form of a stately rose with an naughty hint of salmon pink. Arend Roses is also proud to be reintroducing Prima Donna+. This charismatic salmon rose is characterised by its elegant flowering. Prima Donna+ has a full bud and dark green foliage, which contrasts beautifully with the delicate pinkish orange, which is a real trend colour. Prima Donna+ plays the starring role in bouquets and arrangements in which the rose sets a warm and cheerful tone and carries on looking fresh and beautiful for a long time.
